Registration is now open for the BEAST Cycling Series (Singapore).
In this immersive new experience, cyclists ride a specific 100km route on real roads in Singapore while listening to location based audio directions and commentary from the legendary Phil Liggett ("The Voice of Cycling").
Along the Singapore route, participants will also receive tips and strategies from members of Team Bike Exchange (UCI World Tour Team currently competing in the Tour de France), including from the high performance director and pro cyclists.
It's not everyday that you can ride around Singapore while being guided by the world's best - you might even feel like you're riding in your very own grand tour.
Capacity in limited (due to COVID-19), so gather your friends (max group size is currently 5) and register now.
Universally known as “The Voice of Cycling”, Phil Liggett is a humble icon of the sport that has commentated 48 editions of the Tour de France and 15 Olympic Games.
From the Eddy Merckx era all the way through to the modern champions, Phil has literally seen and called all of the greatest moments in cycling over the last 50 years.
Just imagine riding around Singapore with Phil's voice guiding you. You'll feel like you're riding in your very own grand tour.
Team BikeExchange is Australia’s first, men and women’s UCI WorldTour cycling team.
The 2021 season marks GreenEDGE Cycling’s 10th year in the UCI WorldTour peloton and it's already off to a memorable start with a third place in the 2021 Giro d'Italia and currently competing in the Tour de France.
Members of the team (incl. sport directors and cyclists) will be providing participants with audio tips and strategies that participants can use as they ride the route.
It's not often you can ride around an entire country in a day and it's never been possible (until now) to do it with Phil Liggett guiding you.
The 100km Singapore route starts on the East Coast, heads anti-clockwise around the island and ends with a summit top finish on Mount Faber.
What this course lacks in elevation it makes up for with heat and humidity of Singapore. It's a challenging but rewarding route.
The humble cycling cap (or ‘casquette’ in French) has graced the heads of all the greats over the years.
A cultural symbol that serves as a nod to your cycling brethren and the sport's heritage. This versatile cap keeps the sun off your face, rain out of your eyes, absorbs sweat and fits in your pocket.
All participants will receive a BEAST Cycling Series cap as a reminder of your effort.
